Pop Out Cards

This wonderful collaboration with the publisher Art Angels allowed me to combine my love of paper engineering with illustration and create an extensive range of interactive greetings cards.
Our first range of ‘Pop-Out Cards’ consisted of six domestic animals, with each card consisting of a flat die-cut kit that can be assembled by the recipient into a three dimensional model. The animals are accompanied by a message card that doubles up as a home for the pet to perch on.
After the success of the pets series we followed up the range with a series of pop-out birds, and these were joined by a robin and a dove as a festive addition to the flock for Christmas. A pair of woodland animals are due to join the pop-out card menagerie shortly.
